Tell us a little bit about yourself
I’ve lived locally for around 40 years. I spent most of my career working in the NHS as a nurse. Since retiring, I’ve been involved in the local Neighbourhood Watch group.
What do you think makes a good local councillor?
Someone who is embedded in the community, listens to local people, and works hard all year round.
Tell us three things you're aiming to focus on or achieve for your ward during your term as councillor
Tackling fly-tipping would definitely be one of my top priorities.
There are a lot of concerns around parking in Chapeltown. If elected, I will work to try and find a long-term solution.
Unfortunately, there are many people in my ward who don’t feel like the Town Hall works for them. I will engage with all communities in my ward and be their representative in the Town Hall.

Democracy: How would you like Sheffield City Council to be run?
